The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DEEE) offers a Postgraduate Program that allows students to pursue advanced studies and research in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The program includes two options: the Regular MSc and the Double Degree Master program in Wireless Communications Engineering. The Regular MSc program offers three specializations in Engineering: Electrical Power Applications, Communication and Information Engineering, and Control and instrumentation. Candidates can choose between a taught course option or a research option to advance their career in industrial and research environments. In the Double Degree program, offered by the University of Peradeniya and the University of Oulu, Finland, candidates can obtain two degrees from both Universities.

State-of-the-Art Laboratories
In engineering education, there's nothing quite like project-based learning and hands-on experience. These methods are essential to help students acquire knowledge and gain practical skills through experimental setups and the use of advanced technology. Experimentation fosters a desire to learn and helps students understand the practical aspects of engineering. A Learning Management System (LMS) is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, automation, and delivery of educational courses, materials, learning and development programs, etc. DEEE has adopted the Faculty LMS for the PG students as well and the platform streamlines students' educational experience, offering tools and resources to support their growth, collaboration, and engagement. in addition, Students can participate in discussions, and stay informed about announcements, etc. Click here to log into LMS.

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Peradeniya has been known to provide an excellent postgraduate program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering over the recent past under the light of superior laboratory facilities and a well-qualified lecturer panel. I would like to invite prospective graduates to follow our postgraduate program to qualify in three different sub-specialties:
Communication and Information Engineering, Control, Robotics and Instrumentation Engineering, and Power, Energy Systems and High Voltage Engineering. In addition, DEEE offers a Double Degree of M.Sc. in Engineering specializing in Wireless Communications in collaboration with the University of Oulu, Finland.
